Growing up in a poor neighborhood, I faced challenges that many would find unimaginable. My childhood was plagued by abuse, both physical and emotional, leaving scars that would take years to heal. Yet, amidst the darkness, I found a flicker of hope in an unexpected place-writing poetry. Each line I penned became a way to make sense of my experiences. Now, I'm on my way to college to study psychology. My goal is to work with those who, like me, have faced overwhelming struggles.
