Kim Boyer, JD, has been a certified elder law attorney for more than twenty years. She founded Boyer Law Group where she concentrates her practice in the areas of estate planning, guardianship, probate, and long-term care planning. She is a certified specialist in elder law with the Nevada State Bar and is an accredited attorney with the VA. Boyer received her law degree, magna cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law.

Mary Shapiro, MSG, has more than three decades of experience as a gerontologist, facilitator, counselor, and educator. She earned a BA from St. John's University in New York City and an MS in gerontology and human services from the College of New Rochelle. Shapiro cofounded Senior Direction, LLC, a geriatric care management company.
