As Bluff & Vine returns for its sixth issue, we invite you to share in a series of vibrant glimpses into the past.

A local boy becomes a soldier on the battlefields of the Civil War. Protestors march to the gates of a Seneca Lake Army base. Susan B. Anthony comes to Canandaigua for a trial, and Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. comes to Keuka Lake for a moment of peace.

It all takes place on and around our beautiful Finger Lakes, in communities that have been chiseled by the sweep of national events and contoured by the remarkable lives of our neighbors, past and present.
