Downing, Megan: - Megan Downing, co-author of the Bradykin series, is currently enrolled in the Winston School of Education and Social Policy at Merrimack College, where she is pursuing her passion for children, education, and creative writing. Her love for these areas has been evident since her early years.During her elementary school days, Megan successfully convinced her parents to choose Bradykin as their beloved family pet. Bradykin, the son of Q-Tip and Gizmo, was born on a farm in Monroe Township, New Jersey. His journey was even featured on Animal Planet's "Too Cute" episode, capturing his growth from birth to eight weeks old before becoming an adored member of the Downing family. Megan played a pivotal role in the development of the Bradykin stories, infusing them with her love for Martha's Vineyard and contributing creative ideas that shaped both the storyline and the imagery shared with their talented illustrator, Chris Young.
