Charles Stewart served 26 years in the military as a sniper in the Airborne Infantry and in units with Special Operations Command worldwide. He is a combat veteran of Desert Storm and the Global War On Terror, with multiple deployments to Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Charles later served his nation's Government in high-threat arenas as a Personal Diplomat Security Specialist until his retirement in 2017. He now resides in his East Tennessee hometown with his wife Cheryl and his service dog Sadie. He lectures throughout the United States as an advocate for disabled veterans and Firearm safety and an ambassador for service dogs.
