The Ethiopian or Abyssinian religion, on the Horn of Africa, is
individual of the five supposed monophysite Christian churches
that renounce the Council of Chalcedon (451) and allure recipe of
conviction. The church does not call itself monophysite but instead
Tāwaḥedo (Unionite; too spelled Tewahedo), a discussion
articulating the merger in Christ of the human and divine natures,
to identify itself from the Eastern Orthodox churches, that
recognize the formulas endorsed at Chalcedo
