Lockhart, Elizabeth: - "A near-death experience when Elizabeth drowned at five years old inspired a spiritual openness within her that has persisted throughout her lifetime. Although she holds a BS in medical technology and has worked as a medical technologist in clinical laboratories specializing in microbiology for over 30 years, she yearned to work with people more directly and deeply in a healing capacity throughout her career. With this in mind, she studied Reiki I and went on to learn Reiki Level II. Thirteen years later, she completed a yearlong apprenticeship with Patricia Keene, Reiki Master/Teacher, to become a certified Traditional Usui Reiki Master/Teacher. After reading Dr. Michael Newton's Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls many years ago, Elizabeth knew she had to learn how to facilitate Life Between Lives(R) spiritual regression sessions - this was a calling! She trained to learn transpersonal and past life regression hypnotherapy with Paul Aurand, MHt. Elizabeth is an IACT-certified hypnotherapist and certified past-life regression hypnotherapist. Seeking a strong foundation for this work, she earned an MS in clinical mental health counseling from the University of Southern Maine and is a National Certified Counselor. Many clients who come to her are seeking guidance and understanding regarding their life's purpose, support with grief, healing from trauma, overcoming "stuckness," persevering through life transitions, finding meaning, and more. Fulfilling her heart's dream, she trained with the Michael Newton Institute in 2016 and became certified as a Life Between Lives (LBL)(R) facilitator the following year. Being an LBL facilitator has become her life's work. Elizabeth apprenticed as a sound healing practitioner with Kalee Coombs of Vibrations of Joy and offers Reiki and sound healing elements in sessions, aromatherapy using doTerra pure essential oils, and crystal/mineral therapy as guided. She trained to become a Level I Integrated Energy Therapist. Her serving as the chief editor of The Newton Institute's "Stories of the Afterlife" quarterly journal from 2018 to 2020 was highly meaningful to her. Elizabeth established her practice, Mariposa Hypnotherapy, in 2014. She offers in-person and virtual sessions in West Baldwin, Maine, in the summer and Tucson, Arizona, in the winter. She is a highly intuitive practitioner who is passionately devoted to empowering clients to connect with their deeper Selves in a safe and nurturing environment, thereby facilitating healing, well-being, and wholeness. Her work is intended to heighten awareness and increase understanding of oneself and to harmonize mind, body, heart, and soul. Ultimately, she intends to help raise and expand humanity's consciousness, a ripple at a time.
