They both want to see where this attraction will lead. They are surprised by how quickly the attraction grows into more. As Paige deals with some problems at the police department where she works, Rhett keeps fighting against the bad guys he chases for his career. Rhett and his two partners and long time friends, head a large team of like minded, capable experts. Paige's neighbor, Nova, is an interesting addition to this motley crew of characters. As their worlds become more closely intertwined they all have battles to face and ghosts from their pasts, sometimes literally.
