"Fulfilling Paul Newman's Dream--'Raising a Little Hell' and Healing at The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp" is the amazing story of The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp, created for children with life-threatening illnesses under Paul Newman's leadership. Paul wanted an environment in which the campers would just be children who could "raise a little hell." He relied on pediatric hematologist/oncologist Howard (Doc) Pearson to develop and safely provide the necessary on-site medical support. Doc focuses on Camp, the children, and his personal perspectives. He describes his unobtrusive medical program and the dynamics, exuberance, and magic of Camp that have helped children and their families experience healing for over a quarter of a century.
