Alice Inoue is a Life Guide who uses the modalities of astrology, feng shui, and spirituality in her work. Born in San Francisco and raised in Taiwan, Alice attended university in California then spent four years in Japan before moving to Hawaii in 1989. She started out on a path in business, but in an unexpected shift, transitioned into the world of media, first as a live, daily television show host, then as a bilingual news anchor for many years, a spokesperson, and host of her own weekly Japanese television show. Inspired by inner guidance and an awakening interest in spirituality, Alice made a bold shift in her life path and became an ordained minister in 2000. Soon after, she began intensive training in feng shui and astrology and since has developed a deep understanding of life cycles, timing, and environmental space dynamics, which she uses with her spiritual wisdom to help people fully understand their lives. Alice makes frequent appearances on radio and television and has been prominently featured by all major publications in the State of Hawaii. She has a column in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser Sunday paper entitled, "Go Ask Alice," which offers insights into the most common questions about feng shui. Her first book, A Loving Guide to These Shifting Times, was published in 2008. Be Happy! It's Your Choice followed in 2009 and Feng Shui Your Life! in 2010, both books winning Indie Excellence Book Awards. In addition, she has produced three instructional DVDs in partnership with Oceanic Time Warner Cable, which covers popular aspects of feng shui. Her company, Alice Inoue Life Guidance, LLC, is the venue through which she offers private sessions, workshops, training seminars, products, and more. She is the CIO (Chief Inspirational Officer) and is inspired by helping others understand their life paths and awaken to their divine potential.
