V. W. Sheperd is a self-taught poet born and raised in Oregon where he also attended college and earned his bachelor's degree. He has held a variety of jobs, working as a janitor, waiter, credit reporter, real estate agent, and long-haul truck driver. Sheperd lives in Arizona, where he is working on two novels.
