As a young boy, Jovan "Joe" Carrington, dreamed of making his mark on the world by becoming an entrepreneur. He also grew up in a Christian home, where his family always prayed, attended church and lived as God-fearing people. Jovan's father was a deacon and his mother sung in the choir. She would sing 'Precious Lord' so beautifully, that the church would be filled with The Holy Spirit. He was driven by watching how hard his father worked to make sure that the And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, the family was well taken care of. Jovan's mother was a nurse for many years until her health declined, so this was when his father insisted that she not worry about the family's well being, and stand as the man of the house.
