Landes, Martha Kemm: - Martha Kemm Landes is a former music teacher who wrote numerous musicals and hundreds of songs for her students while teaching music in Oklahoma. She is most known for writing the Oklahoma State Children's song, 'Oklahoma My Native Land'.Martha retired early and lives with her author husband and two adopted dogs just outside of Albuquerque, New Mexico. They enjoy spending time at their cabin in the nearby Jemez Mountains and traveling the world. Most recently, they made it to their seventh continent, Antarctica! Besides writing mystery novels, and renting out their cabin, Martha quilts, bargain shops and plays pickleball. She finds the weather in New Mexico perfect for hiking, biking, gardening and hosting movies in their outdoor theater.
