Laveau, Virginia: - Virginia Laveau was born and raised in the Okanagan Valley. After living in various Canadian cities to which she was transferred during her husband's work career, they have retired to the Okanagan Valley, home. From her childhood she has been interested in poetry and prose. Once the writing bug bit she was writing stories and poetry of her own and has had some published and won an award. She hopes you will enjoy the journey the Prather's family took to a find a new life in an untamed country.
