My name is Natalie Barbosa, I was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Queens, New York. I was raised in a Christian home, I would look forward to when my mother and father would take my two sisters and I church on Sundays. My mother would play Mr. Donut Man on the radio and we would dance and sing along to bible verses. We weren't perfect but one thing that I am most grateful is that even in their imperfections they still taught us about Jesus! I was so fascinated with his story. I joined the Choir growing up and would dream of me talking to crowds at church. I didn't understand the gift God had given me and didn't speak about it, in fear that someone might think I was weird. I would continue going to church with my sisters for some time, until everyone branched off and I continued to go on my own. It was during this time that God led my husband to me. I was in my last year in College and he had just moved on my block (my street). He pursued me and continued until we became really good friends. I invited him to church one day and he said YES! We haven't stopped pursuing God since. We got married August 28, 2009 (I was 21, he was 18), we moved into our own place and a year later I got pregnant. We lost our first child and a year later conceived our daughter Lillian, two years later Elijah and two years later Ethan. We were youth leaders at our church in New York and joined marriage classes and counseling. Fast forward to October 9, 2019 the Holy Spirit prompted me to do a study on discipleship and afterwards a bible study on the book of Psalms. I was so taken back by this study that I began to put down on paper what the Holy Spirit would lead me to write based on what I had learned. I would write a mile a minute, each word was poetry to my heart and mind! I wept often in utmost thanksgiving on how amazing each message was. I was led to do bible studies with my family, they were also taken back from what they heard, each one would say "You need to put this in a book!" Confirming a nudge that was placed in me early on. I continued reading and writing and finished writing my bible study on November 19, 2019. From that day on I was led to publish this book, and I wrestled with myself (this was definitely new waters for me and NEVER would dream of writing a BOOK). It took me a whole year of battling this nudge to finally do what was put in my heart to do. I pray this bible study finds you well and I represent my heavenly Father the way he wills! All the
