Sarah Zagaja: - Sarah Zagaja lives in Centerport, New York, with her husband, Bob. They, along with their three children, have raised eight dogs (and counting) for the Guide Dog Foundation and its sister organization, America's Vet Dogs. Sarah was inspired to write a picture book by all the wonderful children's books that were read to her by her mom growing up, and by her work in a middle school library. She hopes that readers will be inspired to support these organizations, or to even consider raising a puppy! Sarah and her illustrator, Lorna Libert, who have been close friends for more than forty years, had a blast working together on this project.
