Surviving the Streets is Paula Villarroel's personal tale of rising from the ashes to achieve a successful life. Paula Villarroel is a registered nurse with a bachelor's degree in nursing. She is currently enrolled in college to obtain her master's degree in nursing. She is the owner of a home health care company in South Florida that serves the South Florida tri-county region.

Paula is married and she has two beautiful children, a son and daughter. Other hobbies of hers include biking, kayaking, walking, and traveling. She loves sightseeing and learning about other parts of the world.
