A young boy named Tom Transwill embarks upon an epic adventure after travelling through a magical portal and discovering his true identity as a wizard. He meets new friends and foes within the realm of Newbridge and comes across perilous situations. He finds his place in a magical world and adventures to fulfill a prophecy divined thousands of years ago.
