He has been a board member of Navodaya Vidyalay Samiti, Ministry of Education, Government of India, since February 2020 to February 2023. He is the academic advisor of Geeta Gyan Sansthanam, Kurukshetra and a Trustee of Ashok Vatika Ramayan Foundation. He is also the joint secretary of Talent Development Council, Kanpur, running several Bal Sanskar Kendras and other educational and social activities in society. A lecturer at BNSD Inter College, Kanpur, since 1990, he authored Jivan Mein Bhagwat Geeta in Hindi.
