THE DESTINY OF GUIDO
Guido, the 104-year-old adopted son of the Old Man, becomes the President of the Estados Unidos Mexicanos (EUM) in 2076, after the 2nd Civil War in the USA leads to the secession of the Western states from the Union, and the re-creation of Hispaniola.
In a world where a miniscule fraction of the Earth's biomass is human - and redundant
- Artificial Intelligence rules, gender roles are reversed, women govern, men are emasculated, and a 200-year Old Man floats in icy waters off the north coast of Japan reliving the past and the many lives that may or may not have been his.
