Gutierrez, Lorna: - Lorna is the author of the children's books "Dare (UK title)/Dare to Dream (US title)" and "Hello, Mr. Moon" as well as the Scholastic-catalog-featured book "My Solar System." "Dare" was named as a book to inspire activism by Amnesty International and has been the recipient of several other honors, including recommendations from Publishers Weekly and School Library Journal.In her free time, Lorna enjoys spending time with her friends and family, including her two children. She also enjoys traveling, snowboarding, tennis, reading just about any type of book and, of course, writing.
