Born and raised in Laurel, Mississippi (HGTV's Home Town), Keeba Smith is a teacher and freelance writer who has a deep love for history and travel. A veteran of the U.S. Army and National Guard, she is currently working on her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership. She currently lives and works in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, Myron, and children Keenan, Myron Jr., and Kee'undra. Keeba never tires of looking for ways to bless others during their struggles and educate the young.
