Up the Creek
For nearly three decades, Ken M. Blomberg has written a popular outdoor column, "Up the Creek," which has been published in several central Wisconsin newspapers. It currently appears weekly in the Portage County Gazette and bi-monthly in the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation's Rural Route magazine. His freelance articles have appeared in many state and national magazines. Some such magazines include Field & Stream, Fur, Fish & Game, Pointing Dog Journal, Wing & Shot, Ruffed Grouse Society Magazine, Bird Dog News, Wisconsin Sportsman, Badger Sportsman, and Woods and Waters. A 1976 graduate of the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point (UWSP) with a degree in Resource Management and past Executive Director of the Wisconsin Rural Water Association, Ken is now retired, owns a dog kennel near Junction City, WI and writes full-time.
