Exposing Spirituality in Healthcare

Exposing Spirituality in Healthcare - Dr Michael W Elmore

Exposing Spirituality in Healthcare

The world of health care continues to change at a frantic pace. Every discipline across-the-board is struggling to keep up with the challenges that are constantly multiplying. More than any other industry, health care is setting a new pace for rapid redevelopment. Health care professionals, patients and politicians falter in the endless cycle of health care reform.

Into this erratic scene of health care, come new forms of treatment that people are calling alternative therapies. Alternative therapies are low cost, and seemingly effective. Most are patient centered, evidence based, and require little training.

Who will implement these new therapies? Registered Nurses have the most patient contact and greatest access. Who better to implement these new therapies? Little does anyone realize that these new therapies are based in spiritual practices contrary to Christianity?

This book covers today's two hottest topics- healthcare and the paranormal. Get this new and exciting, factually based book today!

Small group study included.

Michael Elmore holds a Doctoral degree from Ashland Theological Seminary. He is also the editor of several textbooks used around the globe by Bible Colleges and seminaries to train ministers. Dr. Elmore wrote a Christian-based weekly newspaper column for a number of years and contributed to Cecil Murphey's exciting book, "I Believe in Heaven."

As a pastor for over three decades, Dr. Elmore has served throughout the Midwest in both rural and urban communities. Dr. Elmore worked as a chaplain for over 16 years at two community hospitals, a large state tertiary hospital, and later as a chaplain for a freestanding hospice house and community-based hospice programs. He has also been involved in prison ministry and appeared on television and radio.
